Due to the recent announcement that New Zealand can move to Alert Level 2 on Thursday the 14th of May, we are looking to rebook all our patients’ appointments as soon as we can.
Understandably, due to being closed for eight weeks we have a number of patients to rebook and are prioritising all bookings accordingly.
All previous appointments that you may have had with us are postponed until further notice and we will contact you with another appointment time/date.
If you are unwell with any cold or flu like symptoms or are COVID positive or suspected to be COVID positive, or have been in close contact of a confirmed or suspected case please do not attend your given appointment and call to rebook.
Additionally, to aid social distancing we would appreciate if all patients could attend the appointment alone where possible (i.e. could parents stay in the car etc), until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding at this time. We offer you our deepest apologies for this inconvenience and will be in touch with you as required.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, concerns, or feel that you are experiencing a dental/orthodontic emergency.
If you have been asked to send photos or would like to send photos regarding any orthodontic issues you have, please take them as shown in this video and send to Susan.
Hibiscus Coast Registered Specialist Orthodontist
Welcome to Susan Carpenter’s orthodontic practice. Our practice is committed to providing excellence in orthodontic treatment and service in a friendly and relaxed environment. Our move, in March 2013, to modern purpose-built premises, with full digital technology and the latest dental management software, facilitates optimal patient comfort and confidence in a professional caring environment.
The benefits of a beautiful smile cannot be overstated. Cosmetically, a beautiful smile will boost self-esteem and can significantly enhance a person’s emotional well-being and confidence. Functionally, orthodontic treatment can reduce the risk of gum disease, speech problems and the incidence of decay caused by crowded or mal-aligned teeth.
As the only Specialist Orthodontist practicing on the Hibiscus Coast, Susan has been working in Orewa since 2004. She qualified as a dentist at Otago University in 1991 and then became a specialist orthodontist in 2001 following her three years of training at Guys Hospital, London. Susan will listen carefully to your concerns and expectations and will discuss all possible treatment options so you can choose the treatment that is most suitable for you.
